| IFPA 6200lb Pro-Stock Rules 1. Must not weigh more than 6200# 2. Engine 485 maximum cubic inch limit. 3. Engine must be 14" from back to center of axle. 4. May run cast iron heads or aluminum heads retaining OEM bolt pattern (No Hemi or Big Chief Type). 5. No tunnel ram or sheet metal intakes. 6. No fuel lines of any kind may be routed through the cab, unless factory equipped. 7. No forced air-induction(super chargers or turbo's) 8. If equipped with fuel cell, Must be mounted in the bed or on weight rack from the grille forward. 9. If truck is legal to run the 6,500lb pro-street class entry may continue to weigh 6,500lbs. 10. Limited to 1 carbuerator or stock fuel injection. 11. Any transfer case allowed. 12. Any transmission allowed. 13. Front axle may be no larger than 1 ton. 14. Any rear axle allowed. 15. Maximum wheel base 133" (with a 1/2" tolerance) 16. Weights and weight bracket must not extend forward more than sixty inches from the centerline of front axle. 17. The hitch will be the furthest point to the rear"(except for safety bumpers) 18. Maximum hitch height is 26". 19. Hitch must be solid in all directions and secures no more than 6" from hook point. 20. Rear hitch point must not exceed 36% of the distance from center of rear end to center of hitching eye. 21. No clevis, chain or cable allowed. 22.Tire size must not exceed 33" outside by 12.5" to outside of tread. 23. Body must be of factory appearance. 24. Body must have full cab and firewall. 25. Dash may be removed. 26. Bed floor may be removed but must install bed cover. 27. Wheel base must remain factory wheel base(with a 1/2" tolerance) 28. Vertical headers allowed(alcohol trucks Vertical required) 29. Drive line brakes allowed. 30. Front or rear traction bars allowed. 31. Solid rear suspension allowed. 32. Track judge has the right to stop or terminate the pull for any reason. 33. REQUIRED: Fire Extinquisher in vehicle. 34. REQUIRED: Kill Switch. 35. REQUIRED: U-joint and drive shaft shielding. 36. REQUIRED: A SFI certified bell housing around flywheel and clutch(no cast bell housings). 37. REQUIRED: A SFI certified scatter blanket or shielding around torque convertor and transmission. 38. REQUIRED: A SFI certified steel flywheel and clutch. 39. REQUIRED: A SFI certified harmonic balancer or 360 degree shrouding of balancer with 1/4" steel. 40. RECOMMENDED: Approved fire suit, gloves and full face helmet(REQUIRED for trucks exceeding 6,500rpm) 41. Hitch cannot raise before, during or after the pull. 42. No portion of hitch can be greater than 33 degrees or less than 0 degrees 43. Any hitch with adjusters on top of hitch must be equipped with adjuster on bottom of hitch attached within 6" of hook point. |
